I guess you’re supposed to bring these kinds of flower pots inside for the winter. Sadly, we have three others in a similar state. Science has never been my forte, but I presume this has something to do with freezing/melting/expansion. Home-ownership certainly does have a learning curve.

Don’t feel dumb. I never bring mine in, but I live in the South and we don’t get many freezes. I’ll remember this next year.

If you pick up your pots to bring them inside, you run the risk of dropping them and breaking them anyway. 🙂
